(ii) Pass in Pre-primary Teachers Training certificate issued by the Govt of Kerala or equivalent qualification recognised by the Govt. of Kerala .OR
Balasevika Training Certificate issued by an institution recognised by the Govt. of Kerala.

The candidates applying on-line facility shall keep the print out (Receipt ) of their admitted applications and the barcode number should be written down and kept in safe custody for further reference. The barcode number in the application form shall be quoted in all further enquiries/correspondence. Documents to prove qualifications , age and community etc have to be produced as and when called for. Applications which are submitted not in accordance with the instructions given in the website will be summarily rejected.

General Instructions:
1. Conventional type application will be summarily rejected. Candidates shall apply on-line only to www.keralapsc.org
2. Separate Ranked List will be prepared for Idukki district in pursuance of this notification. The Ranked List thus prepared and published by the Commission shall remain in force for a minimum period of one year, subject to the condition that the said lists will continue to be in force till the publication of new lists after the expiry of the minimum period of one year or till the expiry of three years whichever is earlier. Candidates will be advised and appointed against the aforesaid vacancies and also against the vacancies , if any reported during the currency of the lists. In case no candidate is advised from the ranked lists till the expiry of the period of three years, the duration of the ranked list shall be extended for a further period of one year or till at least one candidate is advised from the list whichever is earlier.
3. Applications should not be submitted to more than one district in response to this notification. If applications are submitted contrary to the above direction and if he/she is selected his/her name will be removed from the ranked lists and disciplinary action will be taken against him /her. Candidates should note the name of concerned district against the relevant column of the online application.
4.  The selection in pursuance of this notification will be made on a revenue district basis, subject to the special conditions laid down in G.O.(MS)No.154/71/PD, dated 27.5.1971. A candidate advised for appointment in one revenue district from the Ranked List prepared is not eligible for transfer to another district unless he/she completes five years continuous service from the date of commencement of service in the former district. Even if transfer is allowed after five years, it will be subject to the rules in G.O.(Ms)No.4/61/PD, dated

6. Age limit : 18- 35, ie. candidates born between 2.1.1976 and 1.1.1993 (both dates included) only are eligible to apply for this post. Other Backward Communities and SC/ST candidates are eligible for usual age relaxation.  For concessions allowed in upper age limit subject to the condition that the maximum age limit shall in no case exceed 50 years of age, please see para (2) of the General Conditions under Part II of this Notification.

The candidate who claim concessions on the basis of any of the reason under part II of General condition should select "Are you eligible for age relaxation" as 'Yes' on the online application and give details in the following space. Otherwise the applications are liable to be rejected persuming that they are overaged candidates.

11. If a written test /OMR test is conducted as part of the selection, hall ticket of eligible candidates will be made available on the website of Kerala Public Service Commission. Candidates are instructed to download their hall ticket as per the institutions on the website.
12. The upper age limit prescribed shall be raised by five years in the case of candidates belonging to any of the Scheduled Castes or adult members of such Caste and their children when such adult members are converted to other religion or Scheduled Tribes and by three years in the case of candidates belonging to any of the Other Backward Classes.


13. The maximum age limit laid down for appointment to any post shall not apply in the case of candidates belonging to any of the Scheduled Caste or adult members of such castes and their children when such adult members are converted to other religions or Scheduled Tribes, if the qualification prescribed for the post is lower than a degree of recognised University and if such candidates possess an educational qualification higher than that prescribed for the post,they are otherwise qualified for appointment.

14. The maximum age limit shall not apply to the appointment of candidates belonging to any of the Scheduled Castes or adult members of such caste and their children when such adult members are converted to other religions or Scheduled Tribes if the minimum qualification prescribed for the post, if a degree and if the candidates hold a degree which is not lower than the qualification prescribed for the post provided they are otherwise qualified for appointment.

15. The words educational qualification mentioned in paras 2(ii) and 2(iii) refers to technical qualification in the case of technical posts and general educational qualification in the case of non-technical posts. Where age alone stands in the way of recruitment of candidates belonging to any of the Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribes or adult members of the scheduled Castes converted to other religions and their children of Scheduled Tribes converted to other religions the upper age limit may be relaxed to fill up the quota reserved for them.

(v) Relaxation of age will be allowed to all provisional employees of the Kerala Government (Whether they continue in service or relieved from service) who have been appointed under Rule 9(a) (i) of part II of the Kerala State and Subordinate Service Rules,1958 to the extent of their provisional service provided they posses a minimum service of one year in the provisional appointment.
